t-mobile dance

here's a campaign filmed at the liverpool street station in london by t-mobile. it was filmed january 15, 2009 & they hired about a hundred dancers to walk thru the station dressed in work people's clothes. then, a mix played over the loud speaker of the station & they started to do their choreography. haha! i don't know what i would do but i think this is genius! =]

on another note... today went to a few bday gatherings. my cousin perry & the wonderful ej barba. =] yayy for birthdays. i ate so much today. -_- so i just found out i don't have school tomorrow cause its mlk day. i really lost track of holidays ever since i got out of highschool. lol & ps. i didn't do half of the things to do for today. weak. tmrw definitely.

sluffin saturday

here i am, 2am & i'm blogging. coming off of a saturday night that definitely could have been better. i didn't do much with my day, i just spent it at home. it's nice to just be home especially on days like today, when nobody is home. i have to say a girl can get use to having the time all by my lonesome. =] anyway, i was suppose to hang out with lex but she got off late & it was already nearing groove. so i went late to groove cause i was cleaning & what not.

d's class was great. the turn out was amazing. yay groove! lets keep this up everyone!! seriously, what would my life be without groove. unfortunately i was too late to even catch on so i didn't take. poopoo. BUT afterwards eketcLV had a closed workshop with the amazing PAT CRUZ. & OH MY LANTA... i don't know what was going on with my head, but i could not get the choreography. wtf. i felt so stupid like i couldn't function. & ON TOP OF THAT! his choreo was pretty fast & a lot of tempo changes. -_- but i loved it tho. i just need to work on my pick up & train more. ugh! mark my word pat cruz, next time i will be prepared.

afterwards, it was corinne's birthday @ HOM but as soon as we get there.. 3 cop cars posted in front of the house. so turned my butt around & went to mcdonalds. lol. anyway waited with lexx & then went back when the coast was clear. but after being in there for maybe 20mins tops... cops came & broke up the party. BIIIIG WHOOP. fuck the police. & that's that. ended up straight chillin in christian's car & now here i am at home. booo.

so my sunday looks like...
- wake-up & FINALLY get on the FAFSA tip
- HOPEFULLY pay my tuition. [sluffin on that as always]
- EJ'S BDAY paarrrtayyy
- & MAYBE, my hifi mamas, angeline's bday dindin @ ra.

but of course i am broke so that's definitely a maybe on ra so maybe i'll stay my butt @ ej's bbq. so yess school starts next week & i really need to get my laptop up & going. seriously.

i have never been to many concerts and i think now i should go to more. so many talented people come thru vegas' stages and here i am not going to any of them! us vegas folk really do take for granted the fact we live in the entertainment capital of the world. people flock to come here & we LIVE here.

ehh, yesterday i went to see the secondhand serenade concert at the house of blues. i really wasn't planning on going but my favorite hotties, xochi & jessika invited me to go. so i did. i spent $23 to see a concert where i knew probably 2 songs from the band. lol. anyway we got there late & the white tie affair was playing. & i have to say i liked them. they did a pretty good cover of lil wayne's 'got money'. haha. then after them came meg & dia. they were a pretty good band but i must say, not my cup of tea. i was a little bored. then finally when secondhand serenade came one it was cool cause i knew more songs than i thought & i realized i had some songs on my ipod. lol. but none the less, i was a little bored. i like the songs but a little too whiney for my liking. it was pretty depressing. but i had fun because i was with xochi & jess. man i love those two. i thank god for bringing them into my life. =]

after, went to urban outfitters & i bought some shoes for $20. but they're a little bit big but its okay. i loves em! & i also bought BANKSY WALL & PIECE i have become a fan of his ever since ramey introduced me. thanks you slutso. =] the book was on sale for $10 so i had too.

anyway, groove today with D & workshop with pat cruz! holler!!!

QUICKIES

ADDICTION
recently i have been HOOKED on hot chocolate. why? i honestly have no answer but i'm going to blame the holiday menu from starbucks & the unusual cold weather in vegas. i happen to have a box of miss swiss cocoa mix packets recently at my house [truely a rarity, actually its a never] & i went thru that so i'm on to the TUBS of hot cocoa mix. i don't drink coffee so this will do. sidenote: jem says hot cocoa is what gay non coffee drinkers drink. my response to that... screw you, addicted coffee drinker. lol & ps, caffine ages the mind quicker. i'll greet you @ 50 down your path of dementia drive. god forbid that happens, but =P to you.

NEVADA FAILS
yes we futchin do. i happen to catch some of the news @ noon today before work & nevada failed in many categories the government grades them on. we received an 'F' in student dropouts, teenage pregency, education, number of kids going to college... just to name a few. & now our governer wants to further more cut education budgets. wow. that's all i can say... education clearly isn't a strong suit here in nevada. giving me another reason to look at this place in such low regard. but its still home for me. -_- but one thing is for sure las vegas is NOT where i will be raising my kids.

ONE HUNDRED & NINETY-TWO DOLLARS
$192 is the amount i am NEGATIVE i am in my checking account. why?! i will tell you why... fasi sports had posted a gym membership payment on the 6th of january & didn't go thru. i checked my online statment friday & there was no payment made. so i had all my money... then i spent a sum of that money over the effin weekend. & then on monday a payment posted from fasi sports for my membership. so i am struck with FOUR.. count them, FOUR! $35 overdraft fees. WHAT IS THAT?! PS, FUCK YOU FASI SPORTS & YOUR NON-CANCELLABLE CONTRACTS. what the fuck is that all about?!!!!! now i get paid tmrw & half of my paycheck is going to paying off those fees. >_< ugh! but i guess i'll be working me some mixed martial arts workouts. but still!

is on again. & big whooooop [sarcasticly speaking]. but it is nice to see some familiar faces. =] good luck to all the crews. i just hate the saturation that these type mainstream shows & movies get the dance scene. & a commited member of this dance community i have to say i get a little bit protective & a bit bitter. ehh but whatevs. & PS beatfreaks will take this season mark my words. lol ... it is incredibly unfair that all those amazing females are in one team. riiidicc.

i have recently come across some very good reads as far as blogs go. & for the record i love reading people's blogs. considering i am a nosey person & all, blogs are definitely my cup of tea some days. ha. but yes i need a new book or book series to get hooked on because i feel my brain rotting away with all this tv watching & dvd indulging. lol
